Glass Buffalo is a fresh and upstart literary magazine that strives to showcase the finest work from Creative Writing and Design students at the University of Alberta.
The inaugural issue (read it here) was a collaboration between students of a creative nonfiction class and their professor, Dr. Janice Williamson. We were able to print a limited run of copies to share with our friends and families thanks to a grant from the Collective Body for Arts Students (CBAS) at the University of Alberta.
Now, we are cultivating the magazine by publishing the work of other students at the University of Alberta.
We believe that students at this university are members of the next generation of writers that can add a unique and diverse voice to Canadian literature.
